Earlier this week, my girl Courtney tagged me in the "Five Things You Can't Live Without" series.
Without further ado, here are the top five things that I just could not live without. And just for kicks, I'll count them off backwards, Letterman style.

Number Five...
YODELING.
via |
For realz. Okay maybe not for real. Totally kidding. No yodeling for me.
Number Five (this time for real)...
SHEATH DRESSES.
via |
I know it's not the most exciting fashion trend, but I love it. I own a dress like this is in just about every color. In the mornings, I grab one of these, my black pumps and one of my thousands of rainbow flavored cardigans or suit jackets out of my closet and BOOM. I've got another lawyerly outfit for the day.
Number Four...
BURT'S BEES CHAPSTICK.
via |
What can I say? I'm hooked. Might be my favorite beauty product (which, ahem, says a lot!).
Number Three...
RAP MUSIC.
via |
I don't think any of you are surprised by this one! You know I like to break it down where I can.
Most of the time that means in my car by myself (and yes, in the lawyerly get up). Music frees the soul!
Number Two...
MY iPHONE.

Addicted. End of story!
The Number One thing I couldn't live without...
FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
With my man and those sweet pups by my side (not to mention my amazing sisters, mom, dad,
in-laws, and best friends), I could take on the world!! And I do : )
So those are the top five things I can't live without. Now I'm passing the torch to one of my blog
BFF's (or, if you prefer like Rhonda, "Bliff")... Michaela, it's all you, girl!
I am SO dependent on Burt's Bees. If I run out and just have chapstick, it is the worst day EVER!! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI too love Burt's Bees...I would be lost without it. I couldn't imagine life without my family and pups either. Your pups are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHahaha @ Megan's comment!
ReplyDeleteI love my iphone, my chapstick, and that dress is so cute. I can see you wearing it and bustin' out some Jay-Z in the car (:
Thanks for passing the torch BFF! I'm excited!
Gotta have the Burt's Bees!! Great pic of you, hubby and the dogs!!
ReplyDeletestumbled upon your blog. LOVE. great content. Great style. Great look. I'll be back. Oh, and I'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
What an adorable family picture!! I don't think I could live without my iPhone either :-) or without any of my Apple products for that matter....after begging my husband to come over to the dark side, he finally gave in and is officially getting an iPhone today (I'm a proud wife!). The idea of you breaking it down in your car in your lawyerly get up to rap music made me smile :-) I do the same in my soccer mom SUV and *sometimes* some people stare as I pull up the Volvo to Home Goods..haha!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you're so gorgeous. And funny!! Love your list dollface :) CFW is missing you!
ReplyDeletemichelle, you are so funny! yes, i love sheath dresses too!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog this week and I was moved to comment today because I swear we are some kind of lost soul sisters. I am a lawyer, blogger, rap-loving, i-phone using and burts bee's addicted gal as well :) I don't even have to do my top 5 because you basically covered it all! Holla!
ReplyDeleteA very cute list, Michelle!
ReplyDeleteRap music is a must, especially for car drives and working out ;)
ReplyDeleteTotally addicted to my iphone too. It's a sickness.
I think we have a lot in common. I'm also a sheath dress lover. I have a variety of them in every color and I just throw a blazer or cardi over it for work. So versatile. (I was beginning to think I was the only person who had to dress up for work still. Although I'm fairly certain I am the only one who still has to wear hose.)
ReplyDeleteI'm totally jonesing for an iPhone. I've been begging for one for my birthday. My poor husband can't get me to talk about anything else.
couldn't agree more!!! my iphone is seriously my third child....Burts Bees chapstick could very well be my forth. =)
ReplyDeleteI don't own a single sheath dress! They're so cute and versatile though. I too have a rainbow of cardigans that I like to pair with just about anything to dress it up a bit and make it more versatile.
ReplyDeleteLove your 5 things Letterman style! And honey burt's bees is where it's at!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love those dresses to! And I can't live without my cardigans. I have wayyy to many... Haha!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge burt's bee's fan too! Everyday! And I would also be lost w/o Jay Z! :) I could definitely see us hanging out. :)
ReplyDeleteok, i love your entire list! i think we might be long lost twins?!
ReplyDeleteRHONDA!! I could not be more proud of your blogger language. i feel like a proud momma.
ReplyDeleteLove your list :)
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is SO cute!
Love my pretty little sheath wearing rapper. Smootches.
ReplyDeleteI love your go-to sheath! Sure beats a suit any day!! You're so stylish girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteDoes your lawyer crowd know what's lurking behind the sheath and cardi?!?! Do you rap in court? har
ReplyDeleteLove this list...LOVE your ideas for Tara...and I adore Jillian too! I totally crushed her on her season (and yes, I too read that copy of OK!) xo
