I've already shared one part of my trip to San Francisco last week- the blogger meet up!
But the main reason that I headed to Cali last week was for a vacation with my little sister, Tori (she just started her teacher blog, so drop by and say hi!). At 23, she had never been on an airplane... so I decided it was high time that I made that happen! I gave her two options- New York or California? And she chose Cali! So off to San Francisco we went. And we had a ball.
Here are some of the pics from the first half of our trip, running around the city.
San Fran architecture
Union Square
Conservatory of Flowers, Golden Gate Park
cable cars on Powell-Mason line
Chinatown
our bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge
across the bridge in Sausalito (I want to move there! just sayin....)
city by the Bay
(picture taken from the ferry out in the bay!)
And yes, we did all of this (along with the blog meet up!) in less than 48 hours. We were busy girls, but loved every minute of it. Tomorrow I'll share pictures from the rest of our amazing adventures in San Francisco (and Sonoma!). The last two days were actually my favorite days of the trip. What are your favorite parts of San Fran?
Don't forget to enter the Blessed Graphic Design giveaway! It ends tomorrow night!
What a fun trip! Did you win sister of the year or what? Love!

ReplyDeleteHow fun! And the photos are completely awesome!
ReplyDeleteSome of the greatest memories I have are the small amount of time I spent in SF on vacation once. Love it there. It's like a whole other country.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing pictures from your San Fran trip. That is one place I've always wanted to visit. I have a friend who is a competitive athlete who swam the Golden Gate Swim (1 1/4 mile swim from Alcatraz to the shore). I live vicariously through her.
ReplyDeleteI *love* the homes in SF. I've been thinking about doing a series of posts on SF neighborhoods
ReplyDeleteWere you cold riding that bike over the golden gate in shorts!?

ReplyDeleteI love that skirt you are wearing!
What a great trip! And, such a sweet thing for you and your sister to do. I think my girls will be the reverse. While both have flown, the older will NOT leave the country...her sister just might have something to say about that!
ReplyDeleteJust love your pictures! San Fran is absolutely one of my most favorite cities!
ReplyDeleteWe loved Sausalito, too. It looks like it was pretty warm there. We'll be there in 2 weeks, and now I'm wondering if I should pack warmer-weather clothes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos...made me miss SF! My grandparents used to live in the city and I always LOVED visiting them. Golden Gate Park is one of my all-time favorites. Glad to see you and your sis had a good time, thanks for sharing the photos! Xo, Katie
