While we don't plan on making any decisions about new housing until our current house goes under contract, David and I sure have had fun house shopping in the meanwhile! The Atlanta market has some amazing homes, including this amazing casa in the Druid Hills neighborhood. At a cool $1.2 million, it's totally in our price range. Not. This is called dream home shopping!
The decor is not my favorite, but the bones of this house are perfection. Now, who wants to lend me a million bucks so I can make this dream home my own?!
Are you dream home hunters like us?!
By the way, you guys are not off the hook... per my post yesterday, I need more questions submitted if you want a vlog here on Ten June! Otherwise I might have to resort to singing a song or doing a dance or something... and trust me, you don't want that : )
it's amazing. you should go for it- i mean you can totally do two mortgages for a bi.
ReplyDeleteA girl can dream! This market is downright crazy now!! We've had some friends sitting on houses for a year or so now and others who have sold overnight. Ya never know.
ReplyDeleteGrant Park is a pretty affordable area with some beautiful historic homes. My husband and I have lived there since 2010 and we love it!
ReplyDeleteOkay, wow, that's gorgeous! Totally with ya on dream home hunting! At the moment, I have about 10 different folders for the 10 different states we're considering for when we move back and they're chock full of stuff that's WAY out of our price range--oh well, like Simply LKJ said, a girl can dream!!!:)
ReplyDeleteHeavenly! M and I dream of being in a beautiful brick house one day. We already know which one too (it's in the neighborhood that I grew up in). Maybe you'll win the lotto and make this your home :) Only thing that I don't like is the wood floors in the kitchen, other than that, this house you've chosen is perfection :)
ReplyDeleteI like to check out the new (and yes more expensive the better!) homes for sale to get ideas for interior design, what colours are in and fun decorating ideas
ReplyDeleteThis house is amazing! I love looking at real estate websites to see what's on the market - so fun to dream!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! We're looking for a house in Atlanta too! Checking out a few with out realtor tonight! It's super fun! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love you but if I had that cash I'd have to snag this one for myself :) Good luck on your hunt! I know your next home will be amazing.
ReplyDeleteWowwwwza. This is amazing. The kitchen is stunning! I'll take it all. This would be close to 3-5 million in the Bay Area. Crazy crazy crazy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bones. I love the Druid Hills area. Candler Park is close by, is also pretty neat, and I think (?) cheaper. It's been awhile since I've lived there, but I also love some of the neighborhoods in Decatur proper. I miss azaleas. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That house is gorgeous! I agree about the decor choices, but the bones of that house couldn't be any better!
ReplyDeleteI love the bones of that house too. The front is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat house is gorg! And personally I vote yes on the song and dance vlog :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Historic Druid Hills is one of my favorite places to dream house-hunt. My "mom I need you to buy me this house right now" neighborhood is Grant Park, though. I grew up in Decatur, went to elementary school in Druid Hills, and spent every summer in high school at the zoo... so they're all my old stomping grounds!! So jealous of your house hunting in Atlanta... I miss that city!!
