HDawg and I decided to have an incredibly lazy day yesterday (hey, it was raining and yucky outside... and he had some cute new long john pajamas he wanted to rock all day, so we stayed in!) which meant that in addition to staying in my pajamas all day and not brushing my teeth until 2 PM, I had some time to catch up on the goodness of junk reality TV on my DVR.
First thing I watched? My trash television favorite, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Love. That. Show. You do too, don't lie. The train wreck that is Taylor... and Kim, for that matter. The saucy Brandi who drops the F bomb all the time. I love them all.
Guess what else I love about this show? Nah, not the expensive clothes or the flashy jewelry or the sky-high stilettos. The houses. Wow. These rich girls really know how to spend some money on their homes!
For example, check out the home of the new girl on the show, Yolanda. Fab-u-lous.
Let's just say I wouldn't be mad over this view.
As if the divine outdoor space weren't enough, her kitchen is perfection.
She's got a cute gallery of what looks to be children's art canvases on the wall in her kitchen. I think that's such a fun dose of personality in that space.
Oh, so this is her refrigerator. Yes, refrigerator.
No words for that one.
Her informal living room is just beautiful. I love the built-in shelving.
You may get this confused with some fancy boutique off of Rodeo Drive, but don't worry. It's just Yolanda's ridiculous closet. Sigh.
So there you have it. Inspiring, right? Well, maybe it just inspired me to rob a bank, but it's still inspiring. See, some good does come out of watching reality TV!

Glad I am not the only one that gets sucked into that show. Love it. Yolanda's house is amazing. Love the backyard landscaping and the kids art idea! and can I just say if my fridge was see through it would scare people. Like for real.

ReplyDeleteI am not afraid to admit this show is my weakness! Her house is GORG! As is she...so not fair! My husband calls it mindless TV, but what he doesn't know is that I am gaining decorating tips and fashion ideas from a trashy show :) Score!

ReplyDeleteI just watched the dinner party episode last night! Omg. My first thought was, there is no way they go through all of that food in the fridge but I still wouldn't hate it if mine looked like that. Or that closet...

ReplyDeleteI just watched the first episode on demand last night and was loving her house! So glad you did a tour! Maybe you could do Lisa's house too?! That place was gorgeous! Even my guy was amazed at her closet.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'm so to miss this season is the crazy that is Camille. That first season she was the best - a complete sociopath. It is shameful how much I enjoy this show.
Amazing home. I need that closet! I haven't watched that show but I really should for some decorating inspiration! The only reality shows I indulge in are the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows.

Yes, I admit I LOVE this show too!! But since we've recently moved and didn't have cable for a bit, I'm so behind. I just saw an episode the other night, and wow Lisa's house is stunning too!! I hadn't seen Yolanda's, but it's perfection. That backyard landscaping!!! Ah-mazing.

ReplyDeleteHer fridge! Every home should be forced to have one. We would all most certainly be skinnier if everyone walking through your house could see your ice cream and mayonnaise and thirty bottles of dressing.
